Ghaida is a student counsellor in the process of completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biological science. Josh aims to recognize clients’ strengths and help them to use these strengths to gain new insights and develop new supports, internally and externally. His experience working with mental health and developmental disabilities has had him working with people of a large variety of ages, abilities, and cultures in settings ranging from hospitals, shelters, schools, treatment centres, and families’ homes. His path to counselling and psychology was not linear, but his work and life experiences have enriched this path and he could not feel more privileged and excited to be here. Ben spent the past 13 years working as a Chiropractor and continues to work part-time doing so. His experience in working with individuals from varied backgrounds with a variety of issues led to an interest in chronic pain and the relationship between the mind and the body. This focus, over the past couple of years, on chronic pain and the mind-body connection deepened his passion and overall interest in counselling and psychology, which led him to this stage. He has extensive experience working with a variety of individuals and understands the complex biological and physiological contributions to our psychological well-being.
